Beehive Accountancy Services was set up in 2014 by founding director, Jo Heldreich BA FCA. 

Following sixteen years of working largely within the not for profit sector Jo recognised that, due to the financial reporting requirements of Boards and funders, there was a need for smaller businesses in the sector to have access to a higher level of accounting knowledge but often, employing a full time Finance Manager wasn’t justifiable.

Beehive was therefore set up to provide fully scalable outsourced accountancy solutions, where a mix of services can be purchased for just a few hours a week, effectively sharing out the costs of a highly efficient and qualified finance function between a few key clients.

Beehive Accountancy Services is a limited company registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds full professional indemnity insurance.

Technology

Beehive are committed to taking advantage of the latest available technology to ensure that services provided are cost effective and deliver efficiencies throughout the businesses we serve.  As such we have embraced the cloud and have experience of a number of cloud based accounting packages as well as traditional desktop packages.

Additionally we offer electronic document management services, enabling access to all client staff, improving workflows and providing opportunity to streamline the payment approval process.

Where appropriate we like to operate using a client specific email address, enabling us to deal with queries raised, for example by suppliers or staff, five days a week as and when they arise.
